The first thing that drew me and my husband in was the fact that they open so early on a weekend!!! So hard to find that around here that isn't a Denny's or Waffle House. Second thing was the beautiful interior and CLEANLINESS. Even the bathrooms are clean and smell great. Third was the friendly and hasty service. And finally the crispy melt in your mouth chicken wings, and sweet fluffy waffles. Best fried chicken I've ever had. This place is exactly what south side needed! Keep it up guys.
P.S loved the chill music!! -

So I went here with my family. I had pretty high expectations and was disappointed. We all ordered the chicken tenders and waffles. The strawberry butter was good. The waffles were not anything special. I get the same waffles at a hotel breakfast. The chicken wasn't anything special either.
Moving on... about and hour later I was violently ill and was sick the rest of the day. So needless to say I will not be back here. Pretty sure I got food poisoning. -

This place surprised me, I was taken here by a co-worker and been by this place 100 times and never been in there to eat.
But to my surprise the chicken sandwich was one of the best I have had, not over cooked fresh and hot. The fries were the same greasy and hot.
So if you want a good chicken sandwich come on by and get one !!!! -

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I can honestly say I do not regret it. I ordered the buffalo wings and also fish and grits (my boyfriend ordered it but his food is also mine--hehe)
The chicken was VERY tender. Oh gosh. The sweet tea was SO southern-like. Sweet. The staff was very welcoming. The catfish was very delicious. Seasoned well and it wasn't under/over cooked. The sweet pancake is a must try!
They also have a mural on the wall of the city of Savannah. I was so intrigued. I love this place. -

From the outside this place looks like it's not worth the stop. And tbh, most places on Abercorn is big let down as far as cleanliness and customer service goes.
But I've passed this place a thousand times and today we finally decided to stop.
To my surprise, I immediately took a liking to this place soon as I stepped through the doors. Modern seating and clean, see-through kitchen. No sticky menus & tables always a plus.
Menu offers a nice variety, something for everyone, perfect brunch spot sans alcohol.
Our server was great. Food came out in a fair amount of time. Most importantly everyone enjoyed what they ordered:
Has brown platter w/ eggs over medium, blueberry pancakes, cornbeef hash (not homemade), Loc's Omelet, and a side of fried chicken. (Fried chicken tastes like home fried)
We'll definitely be back. I'd say this is hands down the best breakfast spot in South Savannah!
Nice job Loc's! Keep doing what you do!
